Nova Fides is adapting products and processes to achieve a responsible offer for their customers. Nova Fides implements a fiber recycling system to reduce the amount of waste. Old clothes and textile materials are recovered to be re-used in production.
Nova Fides still blends the fibers in its Prato based warehouses and, in the same place, constantly invests in new technologies and processes using the energy produced by the wide solar panels placed on its roofs.
A long company history, the ability to intercept new trends and an in-depth knowledge of materials are the strengths of Lanificio Bigagli Spa, established in 1973 in Montemurlo, in the heart of Prato’s textile district and Italian market leader in the sector of natural woollen
felts, needled felts and linings for footwear, slippers and leather goods.
REWOOLY is the latest item produced by Lanificio Bigagli Spa, a felt manufactured from regenerated woollen fibres, whose skilful reuse brings new life to materials while adhering to circular economy principles.
Reusing materials to create products that have a higher added value. Lanificio Bigagli: "We care about the planet"

"Acting now contributes to a better world tomorrow!"
"We work to create fashion and beauty making of recycling the only possible choice to support the environment and the people who are part of it."
The yarns and fabrics originate from recycled raw materials, from textile by-products or used clothes without the use of dye. Products that fit perfectly in the circular economy philosophy. Made in Prato Italy where the culture of recycling was born in 1850. COM.I.STRA is a historic company in this textile district that has invested in the technological innovation of textile recycling since the 1980’s.

Zerosettanta studio @ Pitti Uomo 2020
a family clothing company from Florence since 1948 - presents a Zerosettanto studio men's coat made with 100% recycled content at Pitti Uomo, one of the most important events for men’s fashion.
The project, after years of experimentation and refinement, was born from the collaboration with REMOkey. "Our work began in 2013, but now we present ourselves officially with a certified label and a serious calculation of the entire route. Also because the market perspective has changed: if a few years ago a high-end garment made with regenerated fabric was not 'understood' by consumers, today concepts such as reuse and respect for the environment are sought after and appreciated." explains Marco Landi.
"The green direction is the future and we who have always followed sustainability paths now want to accelerate"
ASOS has committed to 100% sustainable cotton by 2025.
"Denim is an investment product with a longer life cycle than most garments, but is one of the most water consuming materials and has high manufacturing waste statistics. Our Sustainable Denim strategy aims to reduce the amount of virgin materials and water used in denim production, and promote sustainable design and production."
ASOS has increased the use of recycled cotton in their fabrics by collaborating with the European Clothing Action Plan (ECAP) and REMOkey to help embedding circularity into their supply chain. ASOS has stocked 17,300 Mens and Womenswear recycled denim items containing 18% to 24% post-consumer denim."
